Open to undergraduate or graduate students in the University of Toronto Department of Classics in the Faculty of Arts and Science or the School of Graduate Studies. One prize of $800 is awarded based on a special examination in Greek Composition.
If no candidate submits for or receives the Prose Composition Prize, the award goes to the graduate student with the highest achievement in two or more graduate-level Greek courses in the current year.
