James B. McLaren Memorial Scholarship

Open to an undergraduate student entering the final year of Engineering at UBC Vancouver who shows special interest in the design of structures for capture and use of solar energy.

A scholarship of $600 has been endowed in memory of James B. McLaren by donations from The Dominion Company and his fellow employees.

Recipients are selected on the recommendation of the Department of Mechanical Engineering. There is no separate application.
