About this scholarship
UBC Vancouver graduate students whose studies focus on human rights and related aspects of public policy and global affairs may be considered, with preference for the Master of Public Policy and Global Affairs program.
The award is $4,800, endowed by Farid Rohani in honour of Jamaloddin Khanjani, a Baha'i businessman who lost his business after the 1979 Islamic revolution in Iran. Candidates are nominated by the School of Public Policy and Global Affairs and selected by the Faculty of Arts Associate Dean, Research in consultation with the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies. There is no separate student application.
