About this scholarship
The Jacqueline Schiller Fund Scholarship, established by The New York Community Trust, provides scholarships to CUNY students in literature and history fields including English, creative writing, ethnic studies, journalism, languages, and art history who demonstrate financial need and strong academic achievement. For the 2026-2027 academic year, 16 scholarships of $1,000 each will be awarded to currently matriculating students at the associate, baccalaureate, master's, and doctoral levels. Funds are applied directly to the student's CUNYfirst account.
