About this scholarship

Law students with the highest standing in Land Development and Commercial Real Estate Problems are eligible. If that course is not offered in a given year, the prize goes to the student with the highest standing in Advanced Leasehold, Housing and Urban Development, or another equivalent course designated by the Student Awards Committee.

The book prize is worth $100. One prize is awarded annually.

Established by the family of Jack Friedman, Q.C. in honour of the 40th anniversary of his call to the Ontario Bar.
