J M Carr Memorial Scholarship

For a second-, third-, or fourth-year UBC Vancouver student of geology or geological engineering, selected on scholastic record and leadership.

One scholarship of $2,000 is offered on the recommendation of the Department of Earth, Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences. No separate application is required.

The scholarship was endowed by friends and Teck Corporation to honor J. Michael Carr and recognize his contributions to economic geology and leadership in the mineral industry.
