About this scholarship
Open to outstanding graduates from any institution and country undertaking full-time doctoral study and research at UBC in any field in which a doctorate is offered.
Fellowships carry an annual stipend of up to $30,000 (subject to change). Candidates are selected from applicants in the annual Affiliated Fellowships / Tri-Agency competition.
The awards are provided from the Izaak Walton Killam Memorial Fund for Advanced Studies, established through a bequest from the late Dorothy J. Killam.
