Iser Steiman Memorial Scholarship in Translation

Open to UBC Vancouver Creative Writing students who have shown ability in the art of translation. Financial need may also be considered.

The award is a $300 scholarship. The School of Creative Writing makes the recommendation. There is no separate application.

This scholarship honours Iser Steiman, a Vancouver physician who translated Russian texts, including biographies, autobiographies, and significant medical articles and books.
