About this scholarship
U.S. citizens accepted into or pursuing an accredited medical or osteopathic doctor program may apply through DAR's scholarship portal. Pre-med, physician assistant, nurse practitioner, and veterinary programs do not qualify. Graduate students in psychiatric nursing at accredited institutions are also eligible.
Two awards of $5,000 are given. Renewal requires maintaining a 3.25 GPA. Female applicants receive preference when equally qualified.
Apply through the DAR Academic Works portal by the January deadline.
The Irene and Daisy MacGregor Memorial Scholarship supports students of high scholastic standing preparing for careers in medicine or psychiatric nursing.
