Lawrenceburg High School graduates who complete 50 approved community service learning hours by graduation and meet program eligibility criteria may apply. Qualifying recipients receive $1,800 per year for up to four consecutive years of postsecondary education. The amount is set each year by Lawrenceburg City Council. Recipient count varies. Graduating seniors apply online and submit signed service learning report forms to the Dearborn Community Foundation office by 4 p.m. on June 7. Complete the online application, submit a 250 to 300 word essay or a short video (up to two minutes), arrange for a recommendation letter from a mentor, coach, teacher, or team member, and upload an unofficial transcript and bowling league sheets or competition results. IGBO established this scholarship to support younger members of the LGBTQIA+ bowling community.
