About this scholarship

Declared Simon Fraser University International Studies majors undertaking study, research, internship, or volunteer opportunities abroad of three weeks or longer.

Awards are valued up to $8,000 based on financial need, achievement, and quality of the opportunity. Students may hold only one of the Simons Foundation International Travel Grant or this award during their SFU studies.

Apply with an advising transcript, a one-page opportunity and need statement, and a one-page budget. Recipients submit a one-page reflection and photos within one month of return.
