About this scholarship
For exceptional international students entering UBC who demonstrate leadership and commitment to sustainability and climate change, natural resource conservation, social justice, equity and inclusion, or societal health and wellness. Priority is given to first-generation learners and those from diverse lived backgrounds.
This is one of the need-and-merit awards in UBC's International Scholars Program. Eligible applicants study on a Canadian study permit, enter directly from secondary school for a first undergraduate degree, show superior academics, and demonstrate significant financial need. Award value is based on assessed need. Requires school nomination, a UBC admission application, financial documents, and four short essays (about 150 to 250 words each). The International Scholars Program application is due November 15.
