Students who completed UBC Extended Learning's International Graduate Studies Preparation Program (IGSPP) and have been accepted into a UBC graduate program within one year of graduating from IGSPP are eligible.
The annual scholarship is $1,000, funded by a gift from Mr. Ming Cai. It goes to the IGSPP graduate with the highest IGSPP GPA.
Recipients are selected on recommendation of Extended Learning, in consultation with the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies. There is no separate application.
