About this scholarship
Prestigious scholarship for F-1 and J-1 international students at Winthrop University who serve as International Ambassadors for the International Center. Recipients receive two hundred fifty dollars per semester plus an out-of-state tuition grant, with the combined university out-of-state aid capped at the out-of-state portion of tuition. Ambassadors complete thirty hours of service per semester such as orientation assistance, International Education Week programming, and the International Bazaar. Renewal requires a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 and completed service hours.
