About this scholarship

For Status or Non-Status First Nations, Métis, or Inuit students who are Canadian citizens or permanent residents and Alberta residents, enrolled in an eligible certificate, diploma, applied degree, or bachelor's program. Students need at least 60% of a full course load (40% with a documented permanent disability). Continuing students need at least 18 credit hours and a 2.0 GPA across the previous Fall and Winter; transfer and high school entrants have parallel admission averages.

The award provides $2,000 per semester, up to $4,000 per academic year. Proof of Indigenous ancestry is required.
