IGBO Presidential Scholarship

LGBTQIA+ individuals who are actively involved in the LGBTQIA+ community, maintain a 3.0 GPA, and participate in collegiate bowling may apply for the IGBO Presidential Scholarship. Applicants must be enrolled at an accredited U.S. undergraduate, graduate, or trade-school program.

One $1,000 award is given. Funds are distributed directly to the student.

Complete the online application, submit a 250 to 300 word essay or a short video (up to two minutes), arrange for a recommendation letter from a mentor, coach, teacher, or team member, and upload an unofficial transcript and bowling league sheets or competition results.

IGBO established this scholarship to support younger members of the LGBTQIA+ bowling community.
