About this scholarship
Admitted students who are candidates for an International Baccalaureate or Cambridge AICE diploma may receive a $1,000 per year UAB scholarship by applying in BSMART and submitting coordinator confirmation of diploma candidacy. If the student later earns the diploma, UAB automatically upgrades the award to the diploma holder amount. The scholarship stacks on admission merit awards but is mutually exclusive with other UAB national recognition scholarships. Recipients must maintain full-time undergraduate enrollment and UAB renewal requirements.
