About this scholarship
The I.I. Rabi Scholars Program supports incoming Columbia College first-years who demonstrate exceptional promise in the sciences, established in memory of Nobel Laureate I.I. Rabi. Rabi Scholars major in mathematics or science, maintain a 3.3 GPA in science and math courses, and conduct research for at least two consecutive summers. The program provides summer research stipends with cost-free on-campus housing for up to three summers, optional academic-year research stipends, and up to six hundred dollars annually toward conference travel. Scholars present work at the Undergraduate Research Symposium.
