About this scholarship
The HU Presidential Scholarship is the highest tier of the Howard University Freshman Scholarship program for incoming first-time-in-college students. Howard automatically considers admitted freshmen based on high school GPA and SAT or ACT scores entered by the Office of Admissions, with no separate scholarship application required. Domestic students must file the FAFSA and international students must file the ISFAA for need-based consideration within the HUFS matrix. Recipients accept terms on Bison Hub and sign the HUFS Acceptance Agreement by the stated deadline. Awards renew for up to eight consecutive full-time semesters when contract GPA and credit-hour requirements are met.
