About this scholarship
Pell Grant-eligible Hispanic high school seniors in Hidalgo, Cameron, or Starr County, Texas with at least a 2.75 GPA who plan full-time enrollment at an accredited four-year university may apply for the HSF/VAMOS Scholarship through the HSF portal.
Selected students receive up to $5,000 per year for four years, up to $20,000 total. Students attending UTRGV may receive up to $3,000 per year.
Complete the FAFSA and submit the VAMOS application with all required documents by February 22.

- Students attending UTRGV may receive a different annual award amount.
