About this scholarship
Hospitality Scholars are top undergraduate students at the Cornell Peter and Stephanie Nolan School of Hotel Administration who receive scholarships from a $13 million Dimond family endowment supporting Cornell's Undergraduate Affordability Initiative. Scholarships are awarded to Nolan undergraduates with demonstrated financial need, with priority given to first-generation college students. Recipients are known as Hospitality Scholars and are selected through Cornell's standard need-based financial aid process without a separate application. The Dimond family gift, part of the To Do the Greatest Good campaign, also named the Dimond Family Dean of the Nolan Hotel School. Navin and Rita Dimond, first-generation college graduates who founded Stonebridge Companies, established the fund to expand educational access for future hospitality leaders at Cornell.
