About this scholarship
Full-time first-year students admitted to the University of Lynchburg are automatically considered for merit scholarships based on high school GPA. The Hopwood Scholarship requires a minimum 4.0 GPA (weighted per prior program materials) and provides $25,000 per year.
Awards are renewable with continued full-time enrollment and satisfactory academic progress for three additional years after the freshman year if renewal standards in the scholarship letter are met. Students may receive only one of these merit awards. The number of awards varies.
