About this scholarship
The Honors College Merit Scholarship provides up to $1,000 over two years, paid as $500 per year, to incoming freshmen and transfer students admitted to Wichita State's Cohen Honors College. Students apply through the Cohen Honors College online application with an Activate Your Resume essay and polished resume. Freshmen have a November 1 priority date; transfers have a February 1 priority date. The award applies only to tuition and student fees for up to two consecutive academic years. Recipients must maintain a 3.25 cumulative GPA, take at least three honors credits annually, and complete 12 credit hours each fall and spring semester.
