About this scholarship
The Hodson-Gilliam Success Scholarship at Johns Hopkins University recognizes incoming first-year students who demonstrate academic and personal achievement and have financial need. Selected alongside Hodson Trust recipients in the Hodson Scholars Program, awardees receive renewable support for four years provided they make Satisfactory Academic Progress and remain eligible for need-based financial aid each year. A portion of the scholarship replaces the typical first-year work-study expectation in financial aid offers. No separate application is required beyond undergraduate admission and need-based financial aid forms.
