About this scholarship
The Herman W. Bernard Trinity Scholarship is awarded to a student whose legal residence at the time of application is in the High Point, North Carolina area, including Archdale, Jamestown, the community of Trinity, and unincorporated areas of Guilford, Randolph, Davidson, and Forsyth Counties adjacent to High Point. Trinity Scholars excel academically and serve as community leaders. Selection is automatic from the Duke admission application; finalists interview in the spring. Recipients receive tuition, mandatory fees, room, and board for four years of full-time undergraduate enrollment and join the Trinity Scholars mentoring community.
