Henry C. Belhouse Scholarship in Science

For Canadian citizens in the Department of Earth, Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences at UBC Vancouver: students in the one-year Diploma in Meteorology program, graduate students in Atmospheric Sciences, or fourth-year Faculty of Science students whose studies involve physics, applied mathematics, or atmospheric sciences. Candidates should show creative thinking through projects related to their studies.

One scholarship of $5,200 honors Henry C. Belhouse, a physicist who led instrumentation innovation at the Meteorological Service of Canada, including weather radar and automatic weather stations.

The department recommends recipients; graduate selections involve the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies. No separate application.
