Helsa Leong Memorial Graduate Award in Chemical and Biological Engineering

Open to UBC Vancouver graduate students in Chemical and Biological Engineering, with preference for those who have demonstrated leadership and community service.

The award provides $850 from an endowment established by family and friends in memory of Mrs. Helsa Leong, a staff member for over thirty-five years in the department and a pillar of its graduate programs.

Recipients are selected on the recommendation of the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering in consultation with the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies. There is no separate student application.
