About this scholarship

Tuition pledge for first-year undergraduates admitted to Wayne State University who live in Detroit or graduate from any Detroit high school in 2020 or after. Funding covers up to the full cost of in-state tuition and standard fees minus federal, state, and other WSU scholarships and grants. Students must complete the FAFSA by August 1, 2026, apply for admission by August 1, 2026, and enroll full time. The award is renewable for up to four years with an option to apply for a fifth year if on track to graduate. Recipients must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress and maintain full-time enrollment.
