About this scholarship

Second- and third-year D.M.D. students at UBC's Vancouver campus are eligible for this award. A $2,500 award is made available annually through a gift from Heaps & Doyle to a student who has demonstrated initiative, leadership, and excellence in research. There is no separate application; the award is made on the recommendation of the Faculty of Dentistry.

The award honours Dr. Charles Shuler and his passion and dedication to scientific research.
