About this scholarship
First Nations, Inuit, or Métis women of Canada, in any year of undergraduate or graduate study, pursuing a degree in any area of health sciences including medicine at UBC Vancouver are eligible.
Awards of up to $2,000 per student are made available through an endowment established by a bequest from Anne Margaret Uphill.
Apply through the Centre for Excellence in Indigenous Health's annual Indigenous student award competition with a statement of intent and a copy of your grades. Awards are adjudicated on academic merit, with recommendations made in consultation with Enrolment Services and, for graduate students, the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.
