University of Saskatchewan graduating-year students in English, Home Economics and Nutrition, or Theology who completed at least 18 credit units in the previous Regular Session may apply for the Hannon Travel Scholarships. Theology applicants follow the Hannon theology pathway (Arts and Science BA students with the required honours coursework or Philosophy honours admission, plus a theology intent statement).
Up to five $7,000 scholarships are awarded. Selection is based on the merit of the travel proposal, university and community involvement, and character; academic achievement may also be considered. Travel identified in the proposal must be undertaken within one year of the award. Apply through PAWS by December 1.
The scholarships were established by the late Judge J.W. Hannon in memory of his father, the Rev. James Hannon, D.D.
