Hamish Heney McIntosh Memorial Prize

For the UBC medical student in the final year who, in the opinion of the Faculty, is best qualified in every respect to practise medicine.

A $1,600 prize is awarded, consisting of the book Osler's A Way of Life.

The award is made on faculty recommendation. There is no separate student application. It was the gift of William George McIntosh in memory of his brother, Dr. Hamish Heney McIntosh.
