McMaster graduate students travelling to present at a conference or undertake research relevant to their field of study may apply for this Winter-term travel grant. Funding comes from the Graduate Students Association Development Fund and is administered through the School of Graduate Studies.
Awards are up to $500. The number of awards fluctuates each semester. Recipients are selected randomly, with at least one from each faculty (Health Sciences, Engineering, Science, Humanities, Social Sciences, and Business) and remaining awards drawn from the overall pool. Recipients may be asked for a voluntary 250-word statement on how the travel contributed to their graduate experience. Apply through AwardSpring.
