About this scholarship
The Grow Your Own Teachers program at the University of Lynchburg partners with Central Virginia Community College and local school divisions in Amherst, Appomattox, Bedford, Campbell counties, and the City of Lynchburg to prepare future teachers. Students complete two years at CVCC with tuition support for the first two years, then transfer to Lynchburg for the final two years with a significant financial aid package. Participants receive local fieldwork and job placement support. Apply by selecting Grow Your Own on the Lynchburg application and gain dual admission to CVCC and the University of Lynchburg.
