Non-Florida resident freshmen admitted to the University of South Florida who submit a complete admissions application by January 15 may receive automatic merit consideration for the Green & Gold Scholars Waiver Award. Awards are made on a funds-available basis.
The award provides up to $5,000 per year as an out-of-state tuition waiver. Students must remain classified as non-Florida residents.
Notification typically arrives by mail with the admission acceptance or a separate scholarship offer letter between October and February. Improved test scores within the awarding timeline may upgrade an offer.
