Grahame Budge Memorial Rugby Award

Full-time UBC Vancouver students who are members of the Varsity Rugby team and have attended UBC for at least one winter session are eligible for this award. The $1,000 award is granted annually on the basis of academic ability, qualities of character, and demonstrated proficiency in rugby. There is no student application; the award is made on the recommendation of the Director of Athletics and Sport Services and the head rugby coach. It was endowed by the rugby friends and business associates of the late Grahame Budge.
