University of Guelph students in an honours major offered by the Department of Chemistry who have completed between 10.0 and 14.75 credits and have demonstrated financial need may be considered for the Graham, Fraser and Trevor Bosch Scholarships in Chemistry. Recipients must also meet the government-mandated terms for an OSOTF award.
Two awards of $1,500 are available. Preference goes to Year 3 students with the highest cumulative averages in at least three 2000-level chemistry courses taken in Year 2. Students in research-oriented doctoral programs may apply for the Canada Graduate Research Scholarship - Doctoral (CGRS D). Canadian citizens, permanent residents, and protected persons are eligible; international applicants must already be registered in a doctoral program at an eligible Canadian institution by the deadline (up to 15% of awards). Applicants must have completed no more than 36 months of full-time equivalent doctoral study by December 31 of the application year. The award is $40,000 per year for up to 36 months. Indigenous undergraduate or graduate students enrolled full-time or part-time at the University of Ottawa who are Canadian citizens, demonstrate academic excellence, and provide documented proof of Indigenous identity under uOttawa's focused admissions, scholarships, and bursaries procedure for First Nations, Inuit, and Métis people may apply. Two awards of $10,000 are available annually. Apply by emailing IndigenousAffairs@uOttawa.ca with proof of Indigenous identity by October 20. Domestic undergraduate and part-time graduate students at Laurier with demonstrated financial need. Tuition assistance with amounts that vary by term based on qualified applicants and available funding.
