About this scholarship

University of Guelph students in an honours major offered by the Department of Chemistry who have completed between 10.0 and 14.75 credits and have demonstrated financial need may be considered for the Graham, Fraser and Trevor Bosch Scholarships in Chemistry. Recipients must also meet the government-mandated terms for an OSOTF award.

Two awards of $1,500 are available. Preference goes to Year 3 students with the highest cumulative averages in at least three 2000-level chemistry courses taken in Year 2. If no Year 3 candidates qualify, Year 4 students may be considered based on need and averages in at least three 3000-level chemistry courses taken in Year 3.

Submit an In-Course Financial Need Assessment Form to Student Financial Services by October 7. Students are considered automatically once the form is submitted. The award was established by Mr. Martin Bosch of the Guelph Soap Company with OSOTF matching.
