About this scholarship
The Graduate College Thesis Research Support Fellowship at Texas State University provides up to $2,000 in one-time funding to continuing master's students for expenses directly related to thesis research. Students self-nominate through the Graduate College application process, which runs in two rounds each academic year. The award is granted once per degree and is limited to continuing students actively working on a master's thesis in a face-to-face or hybrid program. Funds must be used for research costs tied to the thesis project. Receiving at least $1,000 in Texas State competitive or merit scholarships may also qualify nonresidents for a tuition waiver.
