Students completing Grade 11 who plan to attend the University of Lethbridge may apply based on their Grade 11 academic average. Five Grade 11 courses are used (English 20-1, three academic courses, and a fifth distinct course), matching the admission-average formula.
The award is $800 for an 80% and above average, or $500 for a 75-79% average (structured field lists up to $800). Apply by June 30 of the Grade 11 year. Alberta high school students do not need to supply transcripts; out-of-province students must send final Grade 11 transcripts by September 15 following Grade 11. The award is tenable only at the University of Lethbridge for the specified year.
