About this scholarship

University of Guelph students registered in a major offered by the Department of Mathematics and Statistics who have completed between 9.0 and 14.5 credits may receive the Gordon Ashton Mathematical Science Scholarship.

One award of $1,800 is available. Selection is based on the highest average in a minimum of 4.0 credits from semesters 3 and 4. A student may receive this award only once, and it is not tenable with the Wally Fraser Mathematical Science Scholarship (I0544) or the R.C. Moffatt Memorial Scholarship in Mathematical Science (I0536). No application is required.

Named in honour of Professor Gordon Ashton, a founding member of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics.
