About this scholarship
Goodyear-funded full-tuition-and-fees scholarship for new domestic first-year students at The University of Akron who are first-generation college students from socioeconomically disadvantaged backgrounds. Recipients also receive corporate and academic mentoring and may interview for Goodyear internships or co-ops. Eligible majors include chemical, mechanical, and electrical engineering and related technology programs. Applicants submit an application, essay, and interview by April 1. Preferred high school GPA is 3.0 or higher; ACT and SAT scores are optional.
