About this scholarship

The Good Neighbor Award provides two thousand dollars annually to non-resident, new first-time undergraduate students who reside in and graduate from high schools in states bordering Wyoming, including Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nebraska, South Dakota, and Utah. The award may be combined with other non-resident first-time commitments or alumni benefits. Students apply for admission, submit transcripts and test scores, and confirm enrollment by May 1 for fall entry. The award renews up to four semesters, or two academic years, when recipients meet UW scholarship renewal requirements including a 3.0 cumulative GPA and continuous full-time enrollment.
