Gettysburg College automatically considers all Common Application submitters for renewable academic merit scholarships recognizing academic achievement, leadership, and potential to contribute to campus life. For students entering in fall 2026, awards range from thirty thousand to fifty-three thousand dollars annually based on grades in advanced coursework, school and community engagement, writing quality, recommendations, and optional test scores. No separate scholarship application is required beyond the admission application. Scholarships are awarded at admission, renewable for up to eight semesters while the recipient meets the GPA requirement associated with their specific award, and may be combined with need-based grants, federal aid, loans, and work-study for eligible students.
