About this scholarship
Merit scholarship providing $1,000 per year to a full-time Augustana College student in any major who declares Judaism as their religion and/or family background. Established in 2016 by the Center for the Study of Judaism and Jewish Culture, the award is based on academic merit and faculty recommendation rather than financial need. Applicants submit transcripts, proof of admission, a teacher recommendation, and meet virtually or in person with the Center director. The scholarship is awarded to students entering in even-numbered years; renewal requires a 3.0 GPA, full-time status, and participation in Augustana Hillel.
