George S. Beagrie Scholarship

Open to graduate students in Dental Science or Oral Biology leading to an M.Sc. or Ph.D. at UBC Vancouver. Preference goes to students interested in a research and teaching career; potential to strengthen international fellowship and understanding is also considered.

One scholarship of $3,100 is awarded on the recommendation of the Faculty of Dentistry in consultation with the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies. Faculty-nominated; no separate student application.

The scholarship was endowed by colleagues and friends to honour Dr. George S. Beagrie, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry from 1978 to 1988.
