For the UBC Vancouver student at the head of the graduating class in the B.Sc. (Global Resource Systems) degree.
The prize is $500, offered in recognition of George Kennedy, the first Director of the Global Resource Systems Program and the main architect of the B.Sc. (Global Resource Systems) degree. Kennedy helped establish international partnerships with UBC. The prize is awarded on faculty recommendation.
