George and Donna Nigh Public Service Scholarship

Oklahoma residents enrolled full time in an undergraduate public-service degree program at an Oklahoma college or university may be nominated by their institution's president for the George and Donna Nigh Public Service Scholarship.

Each participating institution nominates one student annually for a non-renewable $1,000 award. Recipients also participate in public service seminars offered by the Nigh Institute.

Nominees must demonstrate exceptional academic achievement and preparation for a career in public service. The scholarship was established by the Oklahoma Legislature in 1999 to support outstanding students entering public service careers.
