Women age 18 or older who are legal U.S. residents in the 48 contiguous states or the District of Columbia may nominate a gentleman age 18 to 40 who exemplifies service, respect, and kindness. Nominees must accept the nomination to be eligible.
The Gentleman of the Year and his nominator each receive a $500 scholarship. Two Honorable Mention winners and their nominators each receive $250 scholarships. Four total awards are granted annually.
Submit a nomination essay of 500 words or less during the annual nomination window by the October 4 deadline. The Network of enlightened Women (NeW) has run the Gentlemen Showcase since 2010 to recognize men who contribute positively to their communities.
