About this scholarship
General University Scholarships for incoming first-year students are competitive awards based on scholastic achievement, funded by generous donor contributions to the University of Oregon. Awards vary between one thousand and three thousand six hundred dollars for one year at a time. No separate application is required beyond the UO admission application submitted by January 15; selection is based on academic performance from transcripts. First-year recipients are notified by April 1.
