About this scholarship
Outstanding graduate students entering second year of the Master of Social Work program at UBC Okanagan may be considered for the Garry Douglas McCorrie Award in Social Work. Selection is based on academic performance in Foundational Year 1, with particular focus on impactful practicum work.
One $5,000 award is available annually.
The award is made on the recommendation of the School of Social Work in consultation with the Field Education Office.
It was established through an estate gift from Garry Douglas McCorrie (1943-2022).
